OBEDIENCE

Obedience classes are held for individuals and their canine partners.  They learn  basic "etiquette" , to include :

• SIT - STAY
  
  

• STAND - STAY
  
  

• DOWN - STAY
  
  

• HEELING ON LEAD
  
  

• THE RECALL  (i.e. come when called)
  
  

CONFORMATION

Conformation is the "beauty contest" of a dog show.  Dogs are judged on their physical attributes and how closely they conform to the standard of their breed.  The dog and handler should learn some "basics" before entering this competition.

• Stand for Examination.  (Small dogs must be "tabled")

*The Club has been unable to secure a suitable site to hold Obedience classes during the past year.  If a site can be located, information will be posted. 

*Obedience classes are 8 weeks  in duration @ $60.00 per dog.  Senior Citizens (over age 60), are charged $30.00.  Dogs adopted thru legal agencies in Coweta County are also charged the discounted rate of $30.00. Classes are held from 7:00 - 8:00 P.M.*

Conformation classes are 6 weeks in duration @ $45.00 per person. Information will be posted as it becomes available re: location, dates and times.
