VIZSLA The Hungarian or Magyar Vizsla represents one of the best in sporting dogs and loyal companions and has a strong claim to being one of the smallest of the all-round pointer-retriever breeds. His size is one of the Vizsla's most attractive characteristics and through the centuries he has held a unique position for a sporting dog -- that of household companion and family dog. "Patience" CH. Barben's Too Little Time, CGC OWNERS: Mel and Mary Ann Madsen Vizsla's are also used extensively as Guide Dogs Dana and Quint at the 2006 Puppy Prance
DACHSHUND The Dachshund is a small, compact hound whose legs are short and body is long. The head is long and wedge shaped with pendulous or 'floppy' ears. The dachshund was bred to hunt badgers (a nasty, aggressive animal that lives in tunnels). Dachshunds are still used to hunt rabbits and woodchucks. They have a keen sense of smell. Their short legs can move amazingly fast. The dachshund is the only American Kennel Club recognized breed that can and does hunt above and below ground. CH. GEORGIA DACHS ROWDY OWNER: David Jones

displaying grace and agility in equal measure with substance and stamina.
Their hard, muscular body has a smooth outline which conveys the impression of
effortless movement and endless endurance, characteristics which have made

eager. Intelligence is their hallmark.

AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD The Australian Shepherd is a well balanced dog of medium size and bone. He is attentive and animated, showing strength and stamina combined with unusual agility. Slightly longer than tall, he has a coat of moderate length and coarseness with coloring that offers variety and individuality in each dog. An identifying characteristic is his natural or docked bob tail. His gait is smooth, free and easily shows agility and efficiency of movement. The Australian Shepherd is intelligent, primarily a working dog of strong herding and guardian instincts. He is an exceptional companion. He is versatile and easily trained, performing his assigned tasks with great style and enthusiasm. He is reserved with strangers but does not exhibit shyness. Although an aggressive, authoritative worker, viciousness toward people or animals is intolerable. NiteStar's True Blue Moore, CGC OWNERS: Craig and Kay Moore
