Congratulations to Michelle Johnson At the Kennesaw GA show on Friday CH Rusticwood Zippy Do DA CD took Best of Breed with the Irish Setters and then a 3rd place in Novice B obedience. What a boy.... Congratulations to Peg Knoch-Casey I received a phone call from a VERY EXCITED Julie Bender. It
seems that our boy, Jilaroo Moonlight Sonata "Sonny" won
Reserve Winners Dog at the National today. Sonny is owned by Julie and I. I am
also the breeder. He is out of Ch Jambo Rowdy's Zip and WTCH CH Jilaroo
Dawn's Early Light CD HSAcs HSBs HIAcd HXAcd HRDIIs. We are so excited We made the long trek to to the St Louis Herding Club's trials
with one goal in mind. If you have never been to a SLHC trial, you are really
missing out. They are a friendly bunch of folks and put on great trials. Sandra
Holmberg's cattle were awesome as were Tracy Parciak's ducks. Sandra's sheep
were good too, just not Ellie's favorite stock. Back to the goal - to finish her
HXA on cattle. The good Ellie showed up for the 1st run of the weekend which
fortunately was cattle, the evil twin attended the rest of the weekend. Pending
AKC approval, Miss Ellie AKA Wild Child is now: Good news at Jilaroo!!!! Miss Ellie earned her HXAd title with a 2nd place at the Piedmont Border Collie trials this past weekend in Sanford, NC. If you have never been there, Dee's Away to Me farm is beautiful, the stock is good and the club members are great! Ellie is very handler impaired and would have done this quite some time ago if she belonged to someone that had a clue in herding. So without further ado, pending AKC approval, she is now: WTCH CH Jilaroo Dawn's Early Light CD HSAsc HSBd HIAcd HXAd RTDc Now searching for the last Adv cattle leg and championship points.......
